This 200 acre master-planned Texas Crossroads Business Park is centrally located between Houston, Austin and San Antonio at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Hwy 71, just north of downtown Columbus. Underground utilities are already in place, rail sites are available and a superior communications infrastructure is ready, thereby making it ideal for trucking, pharmaceuticals, food-processing, warehousing and a variety of other industries.

The Texas Crossroads Business Park was developed with a voter approved ½ 4(b) sales tax for economic development and a $1.28 million infrastructure grant from the Economic Development Administration.

In addition to managing the Texas Crossroads Business Park, the Columbus Community Industrial Development Corporation works to develop and market the distinctive assets of the area, to attract and retain industry and manufacturing, and to provide development coordination services, such as alternative funding referrals and site research data.
