Official Greetings
We can arrange for an official from the city or the Convention and Visitors Bureau to welcome your group to Columbus and Colorado County.

Media Liaison Services
We would be happy to distribute local news releases regarding your convention, meeting or event. Information must be provided to the CVB in news release format (material will not be edited or created) at least two weeks prior to your event.

Spouse and Youth Programs
The CVB can assist in recommending or creating activities for the traveling companions of conference/event participants.

Welcome Banner
We can arrange a "Welcome to Columbus” banner to be hung at the event facility or in town. Banners with specific names of organizations may be displayed if already in CVB stock, or can be created at an additional charge.

Printed Material
A variety of printed material is available, including the Columbus Visitors Guide, city maps and other area attraction brochures/

Shuttle Service
If your organization is looking at Columbus, or Colorado County, for a larger convention, the CVB can assist in coordinating shuttle service with the Colorado Valley Transit.  Shuttle service must be arranged in advance through the CVB office.  CVT standard hourly rates will apply.

Parking
Parking is free throughout the city, although some venues charge for parking during special events, such as during the Colorado County Fair.  As Columbus is the County Seat, limited parking may be available downtown while court is in session, which is generally on Thursdays.
